Annual Sessler Family Lemonade and Bake Sale
Sessler Family Fundraiser Teaches Kids the Value of Giving Back
Each year, the Sessler family organizes a community fundraiser at Seneca Lake Resorts with a clear goal: to teach their children the importance and impact of fundraising and giving back to the community. The event has become an annual tradition where the children choose a cause to support, helping them learn how their efforts can make a real difference.
This 2025 summer’s Lemonade & Bake Sale and Toy Drive benefited the Seneca County Christmas Committee, a local organization that supports families during the holiday season. The event raised a combined total of $1,200.00—from lemonade stand proceeds and a matching contribution from Sessler Companies—along with a donation of toys.
Donations were accepted by Coreen Lowry and Ellen Hughes (pictured below) of the Seneca County Christmas Committee.
“Thank you to everyone that supported this fundraiser.”

The Sessler family’s approach to involving their children in fundraising efforts each year is a hands-on way to pass down values of responsibility, empathy, and community involvement. The success of this year’s event reflects strong community support and a continued commitment to giving back.
